Stewardship is recognizing that God is the source of all of our gifts. It is being grateful for the gifts we have received, cultivating those gifts because of our love for God and then sharing those gifts of time and talent for the welfare of others. Homebound Visitors
Bring the Eucharist to the homebound and those in nursing homes. Visit and pray with them.
Ministry to the Grieving
Assist with grief support meetings or lead prayer at visitation services.
Prayer Shawl Ministry: "Wrapped in Love"
Meet twice a month to knit and pray for those who are in need of healing and comfort.
Nursing Home Rosary Leader
Lead the rosary as part of a team at Episcopal Nursing Home and at Lynnhurst Nursing Home.

Liturgical Ministry
Sacristans
Prepare the altar and sanctuary for liturgical celebrations, setting out books, vessels, and linens.
Eucharistic Ministers
Assist in distributing Holy Communion at Mass.
Lectors
Proclaim the Word at Mass. Rotating schedule.
Mass Servers
Serve at Sunday and funeral masses. All boys and girls, sixth grade and up are welcome.
Ushers
Greet and assist people before mass. Help with seating, and take up the offertory collection.
Greeters
Greet parishioners and welcome visitors before mass. An opportunity for individuals or families.
Sacred Movement
Provide movement/dance for special feasts.
Special Liturgy Helper
Carry candles, banners, incense, etc., for liturgies. Adults and teens are encouraged to participate.
Church Decorating
Help design and arrange seasonal decorations. Adults and teens are encouraged to participate.
Church Plant Caretaker
Water plants as needed. Seasonal help especially needed during Christmas and Easter.
Church Linen Caretaker
Wash and iron altar linens, purificators and corporals. Wash servers' albs as needed.
Church Cleaning
Assist in light cleaning of the Church one Friday morning a month for 1–1/2 hours.
Faith Formation
Youth Ministry
Lead activities for Jr. and Sr. High youth, including bible study, service projects and other fun events.

Teach a Sunday School class weekly for children ages 3, 4, and 5 during the 9:00 mass.
Children's Liturgy of the Word
Lead Liturgy of the Word for children grades 1–3 during the Sunday 9:00 mass.
Wednesday Night Faith Formation
Teach or team teach a weekly religion class for children grades 1–8.
Parish Lenten Soup Suppers
Help to provide a simple meal of soup and bread. Set up, serve, clean up, or assist with childcare.
Adult Small Group Leaders/Participants
Lead a group of parishioners in discussion and prayer.
Family Nights
Lead activities for different age groups. Help with set–up, welcome and refreshments.

Music Ministry
Ensemble
Sing or play an instrument in a group for Sunday 9:00 mass and other liturgies throughout the year.
Saint Mark's Choir
Lead music regularly at the Sunday 11:00 mass and additional feast day liturgies.
Festival Choir
Sing with the expanded choir for Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and other parish celebrations.
Children's Choir
Children in grades 3 and up gain musical skills while participating in the liturgical life of the church.
Cantor
Lead the psalm and other responsorial music at various liturgies. Includes solo singing.
Instrumentalist
Participate in any of the above groups on a regular or occasional basis. Open to all competent players.

Council of Catholic Women
Rummage Sales
Help sort and sell items in our three day sales held in April and September.
Funeral Luncheons
Prepare and serve lunch after parish funerals.
Church cleaning
Assist in light cleaning of the church one Friday morning a month.
Spring Luncheon, Style Show and Silent Auction
Help with the planning of this annual event; sell raffle tickets, decorate, or arrange auction displays.
Morning of Recollection
Assist in planning for the mass, presentation, and the luncheon.
A Child's True Christmas
Help children choose gifts for their families and make cards for the homebound. Activities include carols, lunch, and crafts.
Christmas Cookie Sale and Boutique
Bake and package cookies, set up Christmas boutique items, and arrange tables for the sale.
Honor Guard
Assemble to form an Honor Guard at funerals for CCW members.
Sewing
Work with women who make quilts for Birthright and embroider baptismal garments.
Bridge/"500"Clubs
Join a monthly card group where proceeds support the Madonna Plan.
Transportation
Provide occasional rides for members to CCW General Meetings.
Hospitality
Work occasionally with the Refreshment Committee for receptions and luncheons.
Social Justice Ministry
Justice and Peace Committee
A nucleus in educating and empowering the parish community on social issues, promoting peace and justice and human dignity.
Loaves and Fishes
Serve meals at Dorothy Day Center. Substitutes are needed.
Family Shelter Meals
Teams buy, prepare and serve an evening meal for 40 children and 15 adults. First Wednesday, third Thursday. Substitutes are needed.
Food Shelf Collections
Transport food items collected at weekend liturgies to Merriam Park Food Shelf. Flexible hours.
Project Home at Carolyn Hall
Serve in an overflow shelter for homeless families during August. Sponsored by the St. Paul area Council of Churches.
Sowers of Justice
An Archdiocesan program helping Catholics make a difference on issues affecting the poor and vulnerable.
Parish Administration
Finance Council
Provide financial, accounting, and legal advice to the Pastor and the Parish Administrator.
Stewardship Committee
Work on projects to increase gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
Coffee and Doughnuts
Provide refreshments after Sunday mass.
Order, pick up, set up and clean up.
Money Counters
Count the offertory collection after the Sunday masses.
Welcome Committee
Develop ways to welcome new and current members to all aspects of parish life.
